LIGHTS IN THE DARK !

THE MAN WHO FELL TO THE EARTH !!

A man fell from space to Earth on 14th October 2012, breaks world record, and potentially the speed of sound.

He is best known for jumping to Earth from a helium balloon in the stratosphere. Doing so, he set world records for skydiving an estimated 39 km (24 mi), reaching an estimated top speed of 1,357.64 km/h (843.6 mph).

He became the first person to break the sound barrier without vehicular power relative to the surface on his descent.

His name is Felix Baumgartner and he, supported financially by sponsor Red Bull. He  had used climate-controlled capsule attached to a balloon nearly in space.

Baumgartner had jumped from 120,000 feet — outside the stratosphere — and was in transit via a large balloon (is anyone imagining the flying-house scene from ‘Up’?).The balloon was took off from Roswell, New Mexico, a fitting location given the region’s affinity for all things alien.

He had a team of engineers, medical staff, and even a skydiving consultant on the ground, walking him through the decent. His team also had includes the previous record holder, United States Airforce Colonel Joseph Kittinger, who jumped from 102,800 feet in the 1960s.

While he was risesing into the sky, his team was running through practice tests of procedures. and his family and hundreds of persons who were working with him on this project from several years were praying for his safe return to the earth surface.

let's jump and feels his experience !
